About the Event

Join us along the Bearcamp River for a morning of Japanese Barberry and Asiatic Bittersweet removal from LRCT’s Eastern and Western Field Properties in Tamworth. Like many old fields in New England, invasive species have established a stronghold along the edges of these two properties. Our goal is to reduce their presence to promote the growth of native plants.

What to bring

- Leather/thick gloves (for barberry thorns) - Proper footwear and work attire - Water and snacks - Tools will be provided by LRCT

Youth Instructions

Youth volunteers are accepted with the consent of parent/guardian
