About the Event

June 1 is National Trails Day! Please join us to help clean up Pine Park trails! A substantial number of dead and diseased trees were cut down in Pine Park this past winter. There is a lot of debris in the trails as a result of the logging operations. We need to remove brush from the trails to improve them for walking.

This experience is sponsored by: Pine Park Association, Hanover Conservancy, Dartmouth College, and the Town of Hanover.

What to bring

Volunteers should bring work gloves, sturdy shoes, steel-tooth rakes and pruning saws if you have them.

Youth Instructions

Older youth volunteers welcome; there will be chainsaws being used at times by certified operators, and parents should plan to supervise their children the entire time.
