About the Event
Join Forest Society staff and other volunteers for a day of spring cleaning at Lost River Reservation! Trail clearing, native garden pruning, landscaping, and other assorted tasks will be options for volunteers to help Lost River get ready for opening weekend. You will have an opportunity to learn about the gorge and the role of the Forest Society in protecting the property in 1912. Lunch will be provided, and there will be an opportunity to walk through the gorge and caves in the afternoon.
What to bring
Bring work clothes, boots, work gloves and water (lunch provided).
Youth Instructions
We welcome volunteers 13+ to this event. Youth volunteers from 13-18 will need to have a parent complete a liability waiver in advance of the activity. If volunteers are between the ages of 13-15, they will need an adult to join them at the activity.
