About the Event
Join Forest Society staff and other volunteers for a day of spring cleaning at Lost River Reservation. Trail clearing, native garden pruning, landscaping/gardening, and other assorted tasks will be options for volunteers to help Lost River get ready for opening weekend. Lunch will be provided, and there will be an opportunity to walk through the gorge and caves in the afternoon.
What to bring
Dress in layers for cool weather and wear sturdy shoes (boots recommended). Bring work gloves (if you have them) and water. Lunch is provided, but you can always bring your own bag lunch if you prefer!
Youth Instructions
Youth volunteers age 16 & 17 are welcome with a signed parental permission form (contact Clarnerd@forestsociety.org and we will email it to you). Youth age 15 and younger can participate with a parent or guardian (we will have permission forms on site).
