About the Event
A beautiful piece of conservation land in Hollis is adjacent to the Nashua River. Glossy buckthorn has taken root along the shoreline, and has started to make its way into the understory. These workdays are designed to stop the buckthorn from encroaching further into the understory, by the hand removal of small specimens. We will not be tackling the shoreline buckthorn at this time.
What to bring
Water bottle and weather-appropriate sturdy clothing and shoes (rain or shine event). Please be sure to use your favored tick protection methods prior to going into the field. If you prefer to work with knee pads or a gardening knee pad, please bring your own.
