About the Event

Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day by volunteering! Your help is needed to make this the biggest spring stewardship day ever as we beautify the crown jewel of the Belknap Range - Mount Major! We have 3 opportunities available for your own level of commitment: - Trailhead Trash Team: 10am to 12pm lower on the mountain - Summit Litter Squad: 10am to 2pm - give back from the top - Earth Day Trail Tenders: 10 to 4pm- sustainable trail work crew.

What to bring

Dress for muddy spring conditions in the mountains of New Hampshire. Please bring a backpack to hold your water bottle, extra clothes, and your lunch & snacks. The Forest Society will provide trash bags, gloves, safety supplies, and any necessary trail tools. For the trail-crew: wear long pants and boots and bring enough water/food for the whole day.

Youth Instructions

Youth volunteers are encouraged to join! -Anyone under 18: parent/guardian signature required on our waiver for minors. -Anyone under the age of 16 is required to have adult supervision.
