About the Event
A total of three pocket forest sites in Ayer and Devens have been recently planted to increase community resilience and connect people with nature. We are delighted to invite the public to two upcoming (free!) public workdays, where you will have an opportunity to learn about the pocket forest project, plant additional plants, spread mulch, and remove invasives and weeds.
The pocket forest locations are:
-Devens Playground/UNACC, near 29 Antietam Street, Devens, MA
-Ayer Shirley Regional Middle School, 1 Hospital Road, Shirley, MA
-East Main Street in Ayer, Across from the Ayer Library
Anyone associated with a business or group which is interested in scheduling a workday, please contact Beth directly.
