The Ashuelot River Local Advisory Committee (ARLAC) is recruiting volunteers for their 21st season of water quality monitoring! Volunteers conduct monthly physical and chemical water quality monitoring along the length of the Ashuelot River from Washington to Hinsdale; the data are then used by New Hampshire DES, the EPA, and local conservation commissions.

Join ARLAC chair Barbara Skuly via Zoom, for an online training, where we'll review sampling techniques, go over how to use the monitoring equipment, and share the 2021 sampling schedule. Actual monitoring occurs monthly on Tuesday mornings May through September.
