About the Event
This FREE workshop is for public or private school teachers, camp counselors, homeschoolers and environmental educators of all types who want to learn more about Leave No Trace principles and how to teach youth about responsible outdoor recreation. Traveling trainers from Leave No Trace will focus on communicating the 7 principles of LNT in fun and engaging ways using games and hands-on activities. This workshop is part of the Mount Major Reservation Leave No Trace Hotspot Program, but participants do not have to have any affiliation with Mount Major or the Forest Society. Come and learn to inspire the next generation of responsible outdoor enthusiasts! This workshop is co-sponsored by the Forest Society, Belknap Range Conservation Coalition, Lakes Region Conservation Trust, and the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics.
