About the Event

Volunteer with the Trail Fixing Collective for a day of trail work on Old Bridle Path up to West Rattlesnake. Volunteers are asked to arrive at 9AM but can leave any time during the morning with work for the day ending at 12PM. The work involves moving heavy rocks, timbers and bags of dirt, digging holes, and crushing rocks. Volunteers may hike anywhere from 1-3 miles over the course of the day.

As always, this work is weather dependent. Should any changes to plans arise, we will provide updates. We encourage help from volunteers who love the outdoors, are ready for lifting and moving heavy objects, enjoy hands-on conservation work, and are excited to work with our AmeriCorps members!

What to bring

Volunteers should bring closed toed shoes, long pants, water, and snacks.

Youth Instructions

Children must be accompanies by an adult.
