About the Event
Join Patty Laughlin of Lorax Landscaping and learn about identifying at least 9 types of Invasive Species (with live examples) that are crowding out natives in New Hampshire. There will be a short walk around a typical yard and a discussion of best practices for management. Includes Black Swallow-wort, Glossy Buckthorn, European Buckthorn, Bittersweet, Rosa Multiflora, Honeysuckles and more.
What to bring
Volunteers should bring a notebook, and a camera or smartphone.
Youth Instructions
Any age is welcome, under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
