About the Event

Join the Town of Lincoln Conservation Department and Lincoln Land Conservation Trust for an afternoon of invasive plant education, camaraderie, and habitat restoration. These monthly volunteer opportunities will provide participants with information on invasive plant identification and best management practices that they can apply to their own backyards. Sudbury River Join us on the Sudbury River where we will continue to remove invasive water chestnut from Lee’s Bridge down to Fairhaven Bay. For this event, we request participants to provide their own watercraft, life-vest, and paddles if possible. If you cannot provide your own equipment, please let us know and we will attempt to provide equipment for all interested participants.

Meeting location, event details, and waiver will be emailed to registrants prior to the workday. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. For questions please contact conservation@lincolntown.org or 781-259-2612.

What to bring

Work gloves, water, snacks, appropriate clothing, and whatever else you need work comfortably outdoors for two hours
