About the Event

Join foresters Charlie Moreno and George Main for a walk in the Branch Hill Farm woods to see firsthand how strategically adding tree trunks to streams can enhance habitat, improve water quality, mitigate flood risk, and prevent erosion. Do you care for a stream on your property? This workshop will offer insights and resources for applying these strategies at home. We will gather at the woodland access road near the corner of Mason Rd and Teneriffe Rd in Milton, NH. Exact location and parking instructions will be shared after registration. Registration is limited to 15 participants. We will spend a large portion of the workshop walking along woodland terrain. Q. What to Bring R. Long pants, long sleeves, boots, and natural bug spray are recommended. This workshop occurs during hunting season, so please wear ORANGE! We will have some extra orange vests to lend.
