About the Event
Help learn to ID and then pull invasive buckthorn plants in Durham's Doe Farm Preserve. This is part of a long-term project to remove buckthorn and other non-native, invasive plant species to allow native plants to recolonize the woodlands. Free of charge, just bring your enthusiasm!
What to bring
Work gloves (some will be available too), snacks, water and bug repellent should you desire. Loppers are useful too.
Youth Instructions
Primarily an activity for teen and adults.
