About the Event

Join the Forest Society in Concord to care for tools and button up the Conservation Center for the upcoming winter season! We are looking to close out the field season by taking care of the tools we rely upon to work with while stewarding our properties across the great state of New Hampshire.

This workday you will learn how to clean mud/dirt from tools, tool sharpening, sorting/reorganizing tools, and cleaning reusable PPE products. The needs around the Conservation Center include some leaf management and a brick structure to improve access to the EV station in the parking area.

Our tools and grounds need care in order to be ready for the next busy field season and we hope to see you here to help us!

What to bring

Please bring work gloves, water, wear pants & closed-toed shoes. If you also have your own eye/ear protection, please feel free to bring your own. The Forest Society will provide work gloves, eye protection, ear protection to anyone that needs. Coffee, morning snacks, and a light lunch will also be provided.
