Volunteer For Earth Day in College Woods! 13th Annual Buckthorn Blitz

College Woods and the UNH Office of Woodlands & Natural Areas need you! This special forest on the UNH campus is being overrun with glossy buckthorn, a non-native invasive shrub that crowds out native plants. We’ll be hand-pulling buckthorn to help improve the health of College Woods. Come prepared with a water bottle, long sleeve shirt and pants and sturdy shoes. Groups and Clubs Welcome!

Come for all or part of this event. We'll meet at noon by the entrance to College Woods near the UNH soccer field on Colovos Road, but if you arrive after noon, follow the signs posted to our worksite near the UNH Reservoir.
