Among many other watershed programs, we have focused on land conservation for existing trails and trail construction. In the past few years, the Newfound Lake Region Association has made major strides in land conservation, resulting in the permanent protection of existing trails, improvements in deteriorating trails and the construction of new trails. Through each of these projects we have involved the public for input and trail maintenance projects. Our partners in these efforts include several town conservation commissions, Society for Protection of NH Forests, NH Audubon, and Lakes Region Conservation Trust.
