Volunteer Action for Earth Day 2020!
Did you know 2020 is the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day?
Earth Day 2020 will be a worldwide celebration, with volunteer and community action coordinated through the Earth Day Network. Nature Groupie will be co-posting all events submitted to the Nature Groupie calendar to the Earth Day Network database to increase awareness and help inspire even more action.
Nature Groupie will ask our community of almost 5,000 volunteers to commit to volunteering for nature at least once this spring.
That's a lot of action for the earth, but we need the help of our 200+ conservation partners to make it a reality. Please consider organizing a volunteer event this spring in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day!
Submit an event within two weeks of April 22, 2020 (Earth Day 2020) and we'll add it to a new category on the Nature Groupie website ("Earth Day 2020") for all volunteer projects related to Earth Day 2020. We'll be marketing these events to corporate groups, schools, universities and more. Please contact us with questions or ideas about this effort: nature.groupie@unh.edu
