About the Event

By planting milkweed and other plants, you can help pollinators -- monarchs and bees, for example -- as well as birds and other wildlife. Come to the Pollinator Pathways' Fall seed swap and get some seeds to plant before the ground freezes.

Learn:

  • Which seeds besides milkweed require winter cold to germinate
  • Which seeds to plant in the fall
  • Which type of milkweed is right for you -- the three different species and their water/soil/sun requirements.

This free program is brought to you by Pollinator Pathways, a cross-town effort to connect pollinator species -- e.g., bees, butterflies, bats, moths -- with the habitat they need to survive. This natural habitat attracts birds and other wildlife as well and supports biodiversity. Learn more and join Pollinator Pathways at kingstonnh.org/conservation-commission/pages/pollinator-pathways
