Stewardship Tool Library
We’ve heard from conservation groups all over New England that they need tools to help mobilize more volunteers. From shovels to signs, and gloves to garden rakes, our partners and volunteers need quality tools to care for lands and waters.
The Seacoast Stewardship Tool Library in Epping, NH, lends items (shovels, gloves, pruning saws, pry bars, etc.) used for trail maintenance, invasive weed pulling, habitat improvement, etc. by volunteers. We loan these without payment to conservation organizations and community groups in the area. Stay tuned for a second tool library in the Upper Valley Region coming soon!
The library is a partnership between the UNH Cooperative Extension and Southeast Land Trust of New Hampshire. Some tools in the library have been donated by the Great Bay National Estuarine Research Research, with support from the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and the Lamprey River Advisory Council.
