About the Event
Volunteers will be painting blazes and placing signs on the trail system at Lafcadio’s Woods Preserve to facilitate safe visitor access on our trails. Volunteers will be working in teams of 3 and learning how to properly place signage and blazing to guide trail users without distracting from the natural character of the preserve.
What to bring
Bring closed toed shoes, work gloves and water, and wear clothes they are comfortable getting paint on.
Youth Instructions
Youth volunteers are welcome. Under ages 12, parents or guardians should be present.
