About the Event

We will be reclaiming part of Sherburne Forest that was used as a source for sand for the New Boston Highway Department. Area has been filled in and we will be dispersing wildflower seeds, as well as creating some turtle nesting sites. Parking for the Sherburne Forest is located off of the class IV Cochran Hill Road, south of the Friendly Beaver Campground.

What to bring

Bring water, appropriate outdoor clothing for the weather, shovel, small bucket, and a rake.

Youth Instructions

Youth volunteers must be accompanied by an adult.
