About the Event

Make Earth Day every day, by inspiring stewardship of NH waterways in youth. Stream Safari is a hands-dirty, feet-wet curriculum that gets kids experiencing the science of stream ecology. This 2.5 day curriculum training will give you the tools needed to lead a group of youth through their own exploration of local waterways, examining water quality and human impacts. Participants leave with a curriculum guide and material support via the STEM Docent Program.

Trainings Include: May 13 & May 20 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM (Classroom); May 16 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM (Field Portion).

Cost: Free for STEM docent volunteers, $165 for teachers and informal educators for use for professional development (scholarships may be available please contact Megan Glenn megan.glenn@unh.edu.
