About the Event
Help reblaze a section of the New England Trail!
We will be reblazing existing blazes, and removing blazes that are excess for areas. The might also be some small brush removal needed as well.
The attendees will divide into two groups of up to 5 per group. One group will start at the meeting point (Gospel Light Church Parking Area), and travel north. Group 1 will also be putting up a rope handrail to help descend in one portion. Ray Girard will be leading this group The second group will drive up to: Old Holyoke Rd Westfield Ma Coordinates: N42.1406 W72.6871 This is where section 3 and 4 meet in Bush Notch This group will travel south. Bridget Likely will be leading this group The two groups will follow the trail until the two groups meet up in the middle somewhere on the trail. They will then turn around and refollow the trail back to their respective parking areas. This will help to ensure that the trail is blazed both north and southbound.
