About the Event

Mt. A relies on volunteer work to help maintain the surrounding region. The volunteer project for the day involves picking up trash along trails and roadways that have accumulated from the winter season. Volunteering is a great way to give back to your community; many hands make light work! To start the day we will be meeting by the old ski lodge building on the summit. After the event we will have snacks and refreshments.

What to bring

Please bring your daypack, hiking/work boots, water bottle, bug spray and work gloves (we have spares if you don't have any). As we will be working along the roadsides, bright florescent colored clothes are recommended. Tools and equipment needed will be provided. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided after event.

Youth Instructions

Youth volunteers are welcome to attend all Community Work Days, but must be accompanied by parent or guardian for the duration of the event.”
