About the Event

Join us at ecologically sensitive Burley Farms and help us with the Garlic Mustard Challenge! Garlic mustard was introduced in North America as a culinary herb in the 1860s. The insects and fungi that feed on it in its native habitat are not present in North America, allowing it to out-compete native plants and harm the wildlife that depend on them. Let's ban together for a day of invasive plant removal!

What to bring

Bring gloves, plenty of water and any snacks you might need. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes.

Youth Instructions

Youth volunteers welcome! If you are under 18 you must be accompanied by an adult.
