About the Event

Join us for a morning of removing invasive plant species at Dundee Community Forest in Jackson, NH. We will begin with introductions and a brief training on how to identify and effectively remove common invasive plants, including knotweed, swallow-wort, buckthorn, and more. Then we'll work together to remove invasives throughout the property. This is a free event and open to the public. Whether you're interested in learning how to manage invasives on your own property or looking for a meaningful volunteer experience, this is a great chance to gain hands-on experience and connect with others in the community.

What to bring

Wear durable clothing and sturdy shoes. Bring sunscreen, bug spray, water, and gloves if you have them. We will bring extra gloves, water, sunscreen, and bug spray. We will provide all tools but feel free to bring your own.

Youth Instructions

We will accept youth volunteers that are accompanied by a adult.
