Description
Citizen scientists are needed to put up and monitor flying squirrel nest boxes to help determine where northern and southern flying squirrels are distributed in New England and the habitat requirements of each species. Volunteers will check their nest box and record data such as the date, time, and contents as well as upload a photo monthly. Participants are also asked to complete a one-time vegetative survey of habitat variables surrounding the nest box tree.
