Step Into Winter Trail Work

Whether you're a dedicated trail worker or are looking for a new adventure, winter trail work with the Squam Lakes Association will be right up your alley. Get ready to do some hiking and lopping! At these upcoming workdays, volunteers will be trained in basic trail management skills such as changing trail signs, taking out blowdowns, lopping branches encroaching on the trails, and blazing! A full day commitment is not required and hours are flexible upon request! The Squam Lakes Association is seeking volunteers who love the outdoors, enjoy hands-on work, and are excited to work with the new Lakes Region Conservation Corps members, a highly skilled and enthusiastic AmeriCorps crew! For each event volunteers will meet the trail crew at the SLA offices for a trail training session, located at 534 US Rt. 3 in Holderness, NH. Learn more and sign-up with the buttons, below:
