The application period is now open for up to 18 conservation positions with the Lakes Region Conservation Corps for summer/fall 2019. If you are looking to develop new skills and gain experience in the field of environmental conservation, the Lake Region Conservation Corps (LRCC) is for you. This AmeriCorps service program is the driving force behind many of the conservation efforts of New Hampshire's Lakes Region. The LRCC is based out of the Squam Lakes Association at the following host sites with a total of 18 positions available (some are 1/2 year, some are full year):

  • Lakes Region Conservation Trust (4)
  • Lake Winnipesaukee Association (2)
  • NH LAKES (2)
  • Newfound Lake Region Association (2)
  • Squam Lakes Association (6)
  • Squam Lakes Conservation Society (2)

Projects include trail work, water quality monitoring, leading volunteers, caring for backcountry campsites, managing invasive plants (on land and in the water!), and much more. Applications will be accepted for summer/fall positions until March 1, 2019.
